Hello, and welcome to the blog to Super Happy. Sure, there have been other blogs called Super Happy, even some here on Blogger/Blogspot. But, this blog is different. This is the official blog to a radio show that will hopefully be on WHCJ 90.3 FM Savannah GA, pending approval and time process. The show is an one-hour festival of Japanese popular music (including rock, hip-hop, and anime/video game soundtracks) and things geeks and otaku talk about. To quote Borat, "It's nice."
My name is Jonathan, aka Vyse the tetrisdork. I am the host and creator of this Super Happy. I will be your guide to the destructive festival that is the show and its blog. Here is what you will see here:
-a behind-the-scenes look at how the show is made and how WHCJ works.
-reviews on various J-pop items, but mostly music videos and music I manage to get
-opinions on the various news stories on numerous things, like anime, manga, music, video games, and whatever else comes up
-the views and opinions of the co-host of Super Happy, Trapper
-eventually, a podcast that is nothing but talk between the hosts (because I don't want to play the music and face the wrath of the Japanese recording industry and the Digital Millenium Copyright Act because I'm a poor college student)
-other random crap
To be honest, first posts suck. You want to bring your A-game to it, but it's augmented by the pressure to make a damn good first impression. If this post feels incoherent and/or sloppy, I'm sorry. Kinda.
And, we do accept those who don't live in Savannah. This blog accepts non-Savannah citizens.
